Dear New Haven Families,
Next week marks our long-awaited spring break. When we return, we will begin the final six weeks of the school year, an exciting time that can also feel busy, stressful, and tiring. Taking time to rest and recharge during the break will help all of us finish the year strong. Though our schools will be closed next week, the district office and the Centralized Enrollment Center will be open.
Our school board has changed the date of their next regular meeting from April 14 to April 21. The meeting will be held at the same time on April 21, with closed session starting at 6:00 p.m. and open session starting at 7:00 p.m.
New Haven Day is rapidly approaching. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, May 2, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. As usual, we will have performances from all our schools, food trucks, and tables set up for our community partners. Our New Haven Schools Foundation will once again kick off New Haven Day with the Fun Run. This is a great opportunity to get some exercise while supporting our foundation. You can register for the Fun Run here.

La próxima semana llegan nuestras tan esperadas vacaciones de primavera. Cuando regresemos, comenzaremos las últimas seis semanas del año escolar, un momento emocionante que también puede resultar ajetreado, estresante y agotador. Tomarnos un tiempo para descansar y recargar energía durante las vacaciones nos ayudará a todos a terminar el año con fuerza. Aunque nuestras escuelas permanecerán cerradas la próxima semana, la oficina del distrito y el Centro de Inscripción estarán abiertos.
