Dear New Haven Families,
The New Haven Schools Foundation provides scholarships for our students and classroom grants for our teachers that make college more accessible and our learning environments better. They rely entirely on donations for this. One of its biggest fundraisers is the annual Diamonds in Education Gala, which will be held this year on January 25, 2025. This event is always fun; the money raised goes directly to our students and teachers. If you can attend or support this event in any way, please do so. Next Tuesday, we will meet to swear in Pat Urbi and Melanie Freeburg, our two new board members. The meeting will start at 6:00 p.m., followed by a reception. Please join us in welcoming our new trustees.
