Dear New Haven Families,
October is a busy month for celebrating the different groups that make up our New Haven community. Latinx Heritage Month continues through October 15, and Filipino-American History Month and LGBTQIA+ History Month started October 1. Our school board previously passed a resolution recognizing Latinx Heritage Month and, at our last board meeting, passed resolutions recognizing Filipino-American and LGBTQIA+ History Months, which you can find here and here.
If you are looking for something to do this weekend, Science in the Park is happening on Saturday, October 3, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. You can learn more about this event here: Science in the Park Flyer.
