Dear NHUSD Families,
This is the time of the year when our fall sports teams are wrapping up their seasons. Some of our teams, such as the JLHS Girls’ Volleyball team, are having great seasons. It’s not too late to catch some of our teams in action, and you can find sports schedules here: JLHS Athletics.
I have shared information about our upcoming Middle School Virtual Open House for the past two weeks. The event takes place on Zoom on Tuesday, October 29, at 5:30 p.m. It’s not too late to register: Click here to register.
As the November election date nears, our community will decide whether to support the NHUSD bond measure, Measure N. Previous community support has significantly benefited our schools and learning environments. The following video shows how this support directly impacts students and teachers: Investing in Academic Excellence. Measure N, if passed, would provide the district with funding to continue our efforts to provide our students with state-of-the-art, safe, and clean learning environments.
The New Haven Schools Foundation works tirelessly for our students, teachers, and schools. The support it provides relies entirely on its fundraising efforts.
