In November, the District invited interested community members to serve in what is called a 7-11 Advisory Committee. Nine highly qualified community members submitted an application, and were appointed by the Board of Education at their November 17th meeting. At this meeting, the Board charged the committee to review the full list of unused or underutilized District properties identified on the Facilities Analysis performed by 3D Strategies, and make a recommendation to the Board regarding the future use or disposition of each property.

The 7-11 Committee held its first meeting on December 17, 2020. These meetings are open to the public, and we invite community members to take part. Currently, due to Covid-19, meetings are held via Zoom. The Zoom meeting link is provided on the webpage on the morning of the meeting.

En Noviembre, el Distrito invitó a los miembros de la comunidad interesados a servir en lo que se llama un Comité Asesor 7-11. Nueve miembros de la comunidad altamente calificados presentaron una solicitud y fueron nombrados por la Junta Directiva de Educación en su reunión del 17 de Noviembre. En esta reunión, la Junta Directiva le encargó al comité que revisara la lista completa de propiedades del Distrito no utilizadas o subutilizadas identificadas en el Análisis de instalaciones realizado por “3D Strategies”, y que hiciera una recomendación a la Junta Directiva con respecto al uso o disposición futuro de cada propiedad.

El Comité Asesor 7-11 llevó acabo su primera reunión el 17 de Diciembre del 2020. Estas reuniones están abiertas al público e invitamos a los miembros de la comunidad a participar.
