We’re excited to roll out a new tool that will simplify how we communicate with you. Rooms, built right into our New Haven (NHUSD) app and website, offers a secure messaging platform.

This addition allows New Haven to bring the community closer together. Through our website and our mobile app, our students, our families, and our community can access all of the information they need. From messages, to events, lunch menus, and more – everything can now live in one place.

Why Rooms?

  • One place for every message. No more juggling apps or logins.
  • Text notifications. Families get notified automatically of new messages even if they haven’t logged in or downloaded the district app.
  • Safe and secure. Built-in moderation and other safety tools allow us, and you, to stay compliant across all communications.

What to Expect:
Rooms will become our primary method for all communication between staff, coaches, families, and teachers.

From the app, parents will be able to:

  • View a live feed of information from the district and school site
  • Access district calendars
  • Connect other district platforms such as Aeries and Canvas
  • Receive messages from the district, school, and teachers through Rooms.
