National Museum of American History's Girlhood (It's Complicated) "Girlhood (It's Complicated)" explores the concept of girlhood in the United States, and also shows how girls changed history in five areas: politics, education, work, health, and fashion. The series includes videos, articles, pictures, focus questions, and more. The section on Education is particularly pertinent to middle school standards.
She Resisted - Strategies of Suffrage A PBS interactive experience An interactive experience of videos, pictures, and information on the fight for women's suffrage. A very thorough and thoughtful presentation of the movement.
