As we enter the festivities of the Lunar New Year, I wanted to take a moment to extend my warmest wishes to all those celebrating this occasion within our school community.
The Lunar New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, is a time of renewal, reflection, and unity for millions worldwide. It marks the beginning of a new lunar calendar and is celebrated with various traditions, customs, and gatherings that honor family, ancestors, and the spirit of new beginnings.
This vibrant and culturally rich celebration reminds us of the diversity that enriches our school community and allows us to learn from one another’s traditions and values. It’s a time to appreciate and embrace the contributions of our Asian students, staff, and families and to foster an environment of inclusivity and respect.
As we embark on this new lunar cycle, let us carry forward the spirit of hope, resilience, and optimism. May the Year of the Dragon bring prosperity, good fortune, good health, and success to all of you.

A medida que nos acercamos a las festividades del Año Nuevo Lunar, deseo aprovechar este momento para extender mis más cálidos deseos a todos aquellos que celebran esta ocasión dentro de nuestra comunidad escolar.
El Año Nuevo Lunar, también conocido como la Fiesta de la Primavera, es una época de renovación, reflexión y unidad para millones de personas en todo el mundo. Marca el inicio de un nuevo calendario lunar y se celebra con diversas tradiciones, costumbres y reuniones que honran a la familia, los antepasados y el espíritu de los nuevos comienzos.
Esta celebración vibrante y culturalmente rica nos recuerda la diversidad que enriquece nuestra comunidad escolar y nos permite aprender de las tradiciones y valores de los demás. Es el momento de apreciar y aceptar las contribuciones de nuestros estudiantes, personal y familias asiáticas y de fomentar un entorno de inclusión y respeto.
