Student and Family Services

The Department of Student and Family Services works in support of New Haven's mission to develop partnerships between students, families, and staff.  We provide support services to help every student be able to be productive at school, become responsible in their lives, and achieve success during their time in New Haven and beyond.

Services that can be accessed through the Department of Student and Family Services include:
•Attendance Support
•Expanded Learning Opportunity Programs (Beyond the Bell & Boys and Girls Club)
•Enrollment for School
•Formal Complaints
•Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Resources
•Student and School Safety
•Student Supports for McKinney-Vento (Displaced) Students, Foster Youth, and Unaccompanied Immigrant Youth
•Transcript and Student Records Requests
•The Union City Family Center for Family and Essential Needs Support
