In New Haven, we recognize the importance of nurturing our students’ social, emotional, and mental health. Our schools are focused on supporting and empowering students in their personal and academic growth, ensuring that they not only excel academically but also thrive emotionally and socially. We believe that a holistic approach to education is essential for preparing our students to lead fulfilling and successful lives.

We recognize that the support of our students is often needed outside of the school setting.  Below are community resources available to all our students and families.

If you or someone you know is experiencing a medical emergency, poses an immediate threat to themselves or others, or is being hurt by someone, call 911 for immediate help.

Care Solace:  A Resource to Connect for Wellness
New Haven is partnering with Care Solace, a new resource that makes it easier for families to connect with mental health and substance abuse support providers in the community for non-school-based services (outside of school).  Services can be for our students, their families, and New Haven staff and families.

What is Care Solace?
Care Solace provides a Concierge Service, where Care Solace staff do the work of finding and connecting you to mental health and wellness providers that speak your language, are specific for the kind of care you are looking for, and can accept the kind of insurance you have. They can make connections even when you don’t have insurance.  

The Concierge Service team is available 24/7 and supports families through the entire process of getting connected.  They only refer to trusted, ethical providers.  The Concierge Service team speaks English, Spanish, and any other languages our New Haven families need.

Using Care Solace is CONFIDENTIAL.  Access to the Concierge Service team is FREE OF CHARGE.
